A Lovely & Friendly Blog
Recently, several of my fellow GeneaBloggers were gracious enough to award footnoteMaven and Shades Of The Departed with The Lovely and Friendly Blog Awards.
As I have said several times recently, I'm so far behind I can see the back of my head. Please forgive my tardiness. As I was so late in thanking them, I decided that I needed to do something special for the lovely women who took the time to reward me.
I decided to make each of them into a work of art, not that they aren't already. With a very special thank you to the work of John Singer Sargent I present three beautiful GeneaBloggers in portrait. Thank you, I appreciate your time, kind words, and awards very much.

These are great! But I am skeerd to think which work of art you'd choose for me. The Scream by Edvard Munch? Or both of us in American Gothic?
The possibilities are endless!

I can truly say this is the best I've looked in my life! Thank you so much!
Now these are so awesome - WOW! Love it!
Mary - You're welcome and thank you for the award.
Terri - You are my inspiration!

That is too funny (and cool)! My husband said "I always knew you were a work of art and now I can see it." (That was after he looked at the image several times and didn't recognize me)
Thank you for writing your blogs, I enjoy them and learn from them.
Oh, fM, you are so smart, and funny, and talented! I think everyone should see themselves in a piece of art at least once in their life! Way to go!
FM, I'm Kay's Mother - your creation is lovely. All of them are; I just tend to be a little biased toward Kay. Thank you for the thank you to her.
I, too, enjoy your blogs, learn from them and appreciate the challenge of the Smile for Camera blogs.
Kay:
You are the picture, aren't you?

Judy:
I agree, we should all be a piece of art once in our life.
Thanks for your very kind words. My husband says I'm a wit, but he's only half right.

Hello Kay's Mother:
I love the hat, feathers and cape. I tried her little head on so many bodies and this was the perfect portrait. You are most welcome!
I am so pleased to hear that you enjoy my blogs. Sometimes I stop and think, "I'm having way too much fun!"
I, too, am having way too much fun with both my blog and Kay's. The research, the family stories, the sleuthing are all a delight to participate in.
As a Newbie, I am always searching online for articles that can help me. Thank you
