Men Never Make Passes At Girls Who Wear Glasses

This is one of my favorite women wearing pince nez (pinch on the nose) glasses attached to a chain pinned with a hairpin to her hairdo; a little knot bun with a velvet feather anchoring the knot. She also has what appears to be a tortoise comb in her hair.

Her beautiful blouse sports the mutton sleeves that were the fashion around 1894. She has a locket pin attached to a velvet collar with a lace dickey and diamond stud earrings. I wish I knew the color of this unique outfit. I'd like to think it was pale lavender with a dark blue velvet collar.

She is the height of fashion and the epitome of the word "costume."

WOW - what a beautiful dress - I'd love to try to colorize
this photo - I love your idea of a pale lavender dress,
especially with her dark hair.

I do love this fashion photo. I have done a little work with coloring (computer only) but haven't quite got the idea of it.

Hi - Your picture is ready! I hope she is everything you
imagined she would be! She was a joy to colorize - what
a great dress. I'm glad we don't were all that any more -
well kind of - it would be fun to dress up in all that
finery!

Absolutely fantastic! You've done a wonderful job on my woman wearing glasses. The colors are just as I imagined.

I keep saying I'm going to give colorizing a go, but never seem to get around to it.

The artists that painted the photographs when they were originally taken had nothing on you!

Thank you so much!

The colorizing shows details I didn't notice before. Very cool!
