Fill In The Face
For each of my GeneaBlogger, Family Historian friends, I would like to stuff your Christmas stockings with that elusive photograph. The one you're sure was taken, or perhaps never was, but you wish it had been. That photograph that would make it all complete.
For just this moment, close your eyes, make a wish!
Now open your eyes and squint at the two photos above.
There, can you see it?
The footnoteMaven has stuffed your stocking with your wish!

Yes, I can see her! My great-grandmother and namesake, Ruth Carroll Carr! Thank you so much!
Happy Holidays!

Ruth:
I'm so glad she appeared in your stocking! You're welcome and Merry Christmas blogging friend.

Thank you fM! It's the parents of my gg grandmother Mary Ann Barnett, taken in the late 1840s. And I do believe they've written their full names and other particulars on the backs, which is mighty thoughtful of them. And, of course, of you! :)
Ah, Lidian!
You have truly manifested the spirit of this stocking stuffer post.
It looks just like them. Merry Christmas!

I knew someone had a photo of my Piontkowski great-grandparents! Thanks for finally letting me see it!

This post is magic! When it open on my computer it shows the photographs of my Great Great Grandparents John & Sarah Campbell. His long lost, hers tossed by her own hand thinking no one would want to own it.
And now, on your computer your Piontkowski great-grandparents.
A GeneaMiracle! And a new word for GeneaSanta.
